Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Twickenham

Masaniello

22 Church St, Town Centre, Twickenham TW1 3NJ, UK – 020 8891 5777

Lovely food and excellent staff. However a couple of people with me send their pizzas were not brilliant hence the 4 stars. As far as I was concerned it was all lovely.

Fantastic restaurant with lovely homemade pastas and awesome pizza dough. The staff are mostly Italian and very conscientious. Family friendly with booster seats and kids portions. As locals to this place, we visit a couple of times a month and still keep going back.

A Cena

418 Richmond Rd, Twickenham TW1 2EB, UK – 020 8288 0108

Nice place with a great selection of wines and delicious plates. The prawn appetiser was crispy and fresh. I had the chicken with salad on the side which was very similar to a Caesar salad and also very tasty.

Really lovely meal with great service - definitley worth a trip over the bridge

TW2 Bar and Grill Restaurant

80-82 The Green, Twickenham TW2 5AG, UK – 020 8898 9298

Simply amazing steaks. I went twice to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke before I left a review. I went for a simple rump steak, I kid you not, this simple cut was transformed to something out of this world, there was no gristle at all. When I had finished I did not have one single cut away that I had trimmed, not one, I was able to eat the entire steak as it was all meat. Cooked rare, to perfection. The manager explained they cut the steaks themselves so take care as to each steaks attributes. The price is fair, and service is very good. I've made myself hungry just thinking about those steaks.

Great little intimate find overlooking Twickenham Green. Not sure if we went there during a quiet time, but it was cosy and warm environment, with very friendly local staff. Went there for a Sunday lunch expecting the fairly standard pub Sunday Roast faire. But boy were we pleasantly surprised! The roast lamb was so succulent and tasty, and with such lovely presentation of tasty roasted vegetables. Solid selection of wines and a great little bar with a pleasant assortment of cocktails and spirits.
