The people at Funky Leisure are amazing. After being let down by another supplier of leisure goods who after 2 weeks failed to delivery on promised dates, Funky Leisure had the goods delivered in less than 24 hours. A big thanks for getting me out of a situation. Amazing customer service.

Ordered some Trangia accessories online. Requested a quick delivery if possible. My email was answered quickly and the delivery (UK to mainland Europe) within 4 days. Perfect, recommended!

Homebase - Richmond

This branch has a good selection and a garden centre. Be aware of the parking restrictions to avoid one is the penalty (unlicensed fines for overstay) otherwise staff very helpful. Kitchen and lighting available upstairs at the shop. Car wash offered at the car park

A dreamers paradise. I have been coming here for over ten years, its been a haven for stuff l need to make things with. One year ago l bought my studio here, though it was a challenge, l finally got it out up, if l k ew there were three businesses involved l would have gone straight the source. (it wasn't cheap) but l love it. You can get most things from house hold, garden, kitchen, garden furniture. For me it's a dreamy way to spend Sunday afternoon wandering from Isle to Isle. They now have a new key cutting service, but if you have a key that's not standard UK issue, it won't cut it, the laser is suppose to be accurate, but takes longer than a traditional key cutter as it scans the key in. I buy all my tools from here, saws, jigsaws, chisels, screws, hammers, spades... The list is endless. Generally staff are attentive, though some days it's quiet. Upstairs they have a kitchen sales, also lights and light fittings, loo seats and a mass of other stuff you might need. They sell Wood pre cut, and no longer do a wood cutting service. You can buy fencing and trellis, as well as an abundance of plants. I must stop typing and continue my homebase experience.

Another good one. Walkingworld has huge library of guides with a good selection of walks, of varying lengths and grades, pretty well anywhere in the UK. The walks come in an excellent format making them very easy to follow, with photographs to illustrate every important decision point and a proper Ordnance Survey map.

A modist annual subscription gives you unlimited access to all the walks. However you can Pay As Go by downloading indiviual walks.

Crucially you can also find walks France, Spain, Norway, Portugal and Australia!
